| Lamborghini's special-edition LP640 is derived from the horsepower apex of its 6.5-liter V12. That high-revving mill (peak horsepower comes on at 8,000 rpm), matched with a lightweight body of carbon fiber (all but the doors and roof, which are steel), causes a zero-to-62 mph blitz in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph. What's more, peak torque of 487 lbs-ft doesn't arrive until 6,000 rpm. |
